It is based on the fictional universe of the same name, in which Superman’s regime has taken over the world, turning it into a totalitarian society that discriminates against those not born with “superpowers.” The full voice cast for DC’s upcoming animated movie, Injustice, includes Anson Mount (Hell on Wheels), Justin Hartley (Smallville), Gillian Jacobs (Community), and Laura Bailey (Star Wars: The Clone Wars).
The full voice cast for DC and Warner Bros’ upcoming animated film, Injustice, has been revealed. Injustice will release as a DC Animated Movie, the same banner that the likes of Batman: The Long Halloween, Justice League Dark and The Dark Knight Returns fall under, and will be based on the video game Injustice: Gods Among Us from 2013. Anson Mount’s best-known character is John Black “Cain” MacBride in AMC’s Hell on Wheels.
Justin Hartley starred as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow in Smallville which ran successfully from 2001-2011 with 13 seasons total. Gillian Jacobs played Britta Perry in Community where she appeared for six years before leaving at the end of Season Six to pursue other acting opportunities. Laura Bailey voiced the popular character, Bayonetta from Platinum Games’ Bloodrayne among many other video games.

The plot of DC’s Animated Film “Injustice: Gods Among Us”
It tells the story of Batman and his allies attempting to bring order in a world where people with superpowers are treated as outlaws while facing opposition from Wonder Woman’s mother Queen Hippolyta (voiced by Susan Eisenberg) who wants peace at any cost. The film will also feature the voice of Susan Eisenberg (voicing Wonder Woman’s mother, Queen Hippolyta) and Corinne Bohrer (Oracle), among others.
