Insecure Season 5 is coming soon to HBO, starring Issa Rae and Yvonne Orji. In this comedy-drama series about the lives of two black women, Insecure follows Issa as she navigates her personal and professional life in Los Angeles. In season four of Insecure, Issa was battling with the idea that her boyfriend Lawrence might be seeing other people on the side. Despite their best efforts to salvage their relationship in these last few episodes, they decide to break up after finding out they were not monogamists at heart. In this fifth season of Insecure, we will see what happens next for Issa when she begins a new romantic relationship with someone who may or may not have ulterior motives.

In Insecure, In spite of being at a point in her life when she should be celebrating the good things that have happened to her – from getting promoted at work and moving into an impressive new apartment with Lawrence (Jay Ellis) who is still very much on Issa’s mind – all Issa can do is complain about how bad it sucks.
