Invincible is an animated famous hero TV series, based on the series of Image Comics of the same name by Robert & Ryan Ottley. The series is the story of a young man who discovers that he has superhero-like powers, and strives to live up to his potential while also trying to find his purpose and keep himself. The story is told in a close third-person narrative. The series made its debut on MTV’s animation block, then known as MTV animation (later known as Nicktoons Network animated shorts) where it was an instant hit and became a staple of the channel’s lineup lasting two seasons (85 episodes), as it finished its run. After leaving MTV/Nicktoons, Invincible entered into runs on other channels and even found itself without a home for several months.

After failing to follow murdering Mark and enslaving a human race for Viltrumite Empire, we last saw Omni-Man flying into space, heading to an unnamed location. The source of his greater power was revealed to be the mysterious woman from his past. The season ended with Mark sitting in a prison cell, but he remains an important character in the storyline. The series will continue from Invincible’s end and start from Mark’s point of view. After being released from prison, he will start to learn about his past and how his immediate family was part of Omni-Man’s plans for world domination. The new season will also see Mark fighting against Omni-Man again as well as his old enemy Viltrumite Empire.
