This series is inspired by the character of Jodie, introduced by James Gunn. The character is so real that she touched my heart and moved me. I realized the inspiration was because James Gunn is personally inspired by the story of Jodie, a girl who survived and begins to live a new life after she was nearly killed in the African war.

The research that I did was watching many movies of war and African movies. In this way, I could better understand the feelings and emotions of war among the African countries at present. Also, I had to study many films to know how to give a picture of Africa with rich colors that exist in nature.

I think Peacemaker is a very interesting TV series that reflects what happens in the African continent at present, especially when we see how they live with war or war situations. I believe that very important themes about war and peace will be brought to light in this series.
