The plot of the film revolves around a brother and sister who get stranded on a rural road while driving home from spring break. They are both frightened by the appearance of The Creeper, a ghoulish figure who hunts humans by sound. He gets in their truck when they confront him and causes them to crash into an abandoned church, where he hides their dead bodies. 17 years later, the boy is reincarnated as a brother of the girl whose body has been discovered and is being examined by the local sheriff. He gets close to her suspicious boyfriend (the trucker creeper’s old victim) but discovers that she is being hunted by The Creeper again. Once again they take refuge in an abandoned church but are attacked in the end with tragic results.
