John Wick 4: Bill Skarsgård All Set To Appear In The Fourth Installment

Bill Skarsgård, who famously played Pennywise the Clown in the It movies, has confirmed Collider’s recent scoop that he has joined the cast of John Wick: Chapter Four. Skarsgård finally addressed his involvement in the action-packed sequel during an interview for Nine Days, the Sundance drama that opens nationwide on August 06.

The It actor didn’t have any other details about John Wick: Chapter Four at the time but teased it could involve a lot more fighting sequences than previous ones Bill has done before. When Bill Skarsgård was asked if Bill would return as Pennywise in another movie, Bill responded with an emphatic yes and said how much fun they all had making these movies together.

Asked whether his role requires fight training, Skarsgård said “no” and though he didn’t offer up much in the way of details, he promised that his character is “something different. That’s why I wanted to do it,” said the actor, who then went on to elaborate.

John Wick (Keanu Reeves) has retired from the business, but his former colleague Santino D’Antonio (Riccardo Scamarcio) persuades him to take up one last job. Bill will be playing a character who’s “something different” from Bill’s past roles and Bill said he was excited about taking on this new role.

Keanu Reeves stated that he will continue making sequels, as long as the films are successful. Lionsgate intended to film the fourth and fifth films back-to-back but dropped those plans in March 2021.

Release Date of “John Wick 4”

Lionsgate officially announced the film during Parabellum’s opening week, with a scheduled release date of May 21, 2021. The film’s release date was delayed to May 27, 2022, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
