The new poster for John Wick Chapter 4 reveals a key plot detail of the film; John Wick’s return to the world of contract killing after a self-imposed exile following his wife’s death in John Wick Chapter 2. The tagline “He has excommunicated” hints at the film’s storyline that sees Wick going back into the business of assassination, this time to kill off Calvin (played by Common) who runs the Continental Hotel that caters exclusively to assassins.

This film will be released on 24 March 2023. The first two chapters are set in the present day but Chapter 3 is a prequel that’s set in the 70s and Chapter 4 will be set 10 years after Chapter 2. Keanu Reeves recently hinted that there could be a John Wick spin-off movie inspired by the comic book film “The Continental” during an interview with MTV News. The singer/songwriter Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson was announced as a cast member for Chapter 4 but he later revealed on Instagram that he never actually shot any scenes for the film.
