Jurassic World: Dominion is the upcoming Jurassic Park sequel that has been generating a lot of buzzes. The film will release on June 10, 2022, and it’s expected to be just as good as Jurassic World! It is the 3rd movie of Jurassic World. Fans are waiting for the release of the movie since 2020. But it is set for theatrical release in 2022. The movie is set four years after Jurrasic World: Fallen Kingdom which is the 2018 movie.

The movie will be released theatrically on June 10th, 2022. Universal Pictures is the distributor of the movie. The movie is the part of Jurassic World trilogy. The third movie was planned as early as 2014. However, the filming was started in Canada and many other locations in 2020. The filming got halted in March 2020 due to the pandemic. Then the production and filming were wrapped up in November 2020.
The story takes place four years after the events of Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom (2018) and might includes gypsy dinosaurs which are hybrids created to fight wars in time periods where dino DNA was not able to be used. This film will have all new characters but some old favorites as well including Dr. Alan Grant who reprises his role once again. There’s a lot yet to be revealed so it’ll definitely keep you guessing what happens next! Just like any other sci-fi movie Jurassic World: Dominion will have some themes of war, survival, and ethics. Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom set up all the pieces so Jurassic World: Dominion is likely to capitalize on these themes which made Jurassic Park movies one of my favorites!

I definitely think it’s worth seeing, there are already plenty of fan theories about the upcoming movie. But if I had to make a prediction, since this is set on Isla Nublar (the island for Jurassic Park) where Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom left off with all the dinosaurs roaming free and humans trying to contain them. My hunch would be they’re not going away anytime soon. So expect more Jurassic movies for years to come!! There will probably even be another trilogy tying in closely with this one just like how Jurassic Park was tied by continuing storylines from book to film.
The Jurassic Park franchise has always been a favorite among viewers but with its recent release, it might not be as good or better than previous films in the series. Since each film was unique yet familiar enough to make you feel at home. However, now that Jurassic world Fallen kingdom took place years after Jurassic World (2015) it’s interesting how they are going to expand upon this storyline while still making it fresh.
Jurassic World: Dominion is a movie that Jurassic Park fans have been anticipating for quite some time now. With such an interesting storyline, it’s definitely worth watching in theaters especially if you’re interested in the Jurassic World franchise.
