THE PLOT:

The film picks up from where Clerks II left off with Dante and Randal at the Quick Stop Market, discussing their plans for the future as they approach 30 years old. They are soon joined by Jay and Silent Bob, who inform them that Randall’s sister Becky was in a car accident, which led her to become paralyzed from the neck down; she can only communicate via a computer monitor attached to her wheelchair.

Randall and Dante are now living in the suburbs, where they’re raising a family of their own, when Becky announces that she’s got an opportunity to go back on tour with one of her bands for six months because The Rolling Stones have canceled their North American Tour. At first, it seems like it might be an amazing opportunity, but when Randall starts to get frustrated at the band’s refusal to let Dante go on tour with her, he decides that living in suburbia is not all it’s cracked up to be, and they decide to bail.

REVIEWS :

While some say that it is Smith’s best work to date, others express disappointment and worry about the film series’ future.

Smith has insisted through social media posts that this will be his last Clerks film. However, he has made comments in the past about quitting before, so we’ll just have to wait and see. However, if you dislike any aspect of the original films or really aren’t sure how much more can be done.
