King of Avalon: Orlando Bloom Pick up A Bow is an autobiography in which Orlando shares his personal journey in developing this perspective-rich video game. In the King of Avalon series, Alexander the Great died at a young age and will pass his legacy to the next generation. Each episode features a new prince from his legacy, who inherits his power and continues his legacy in the game.
The plot of the series is told from a third-person view. It starts with the death of the King, who has left his legacy to the next generation, and the inheritance of his power by his eldest son (Alexander). The novel introduces Alexander in a scene where he sets out to prove that he is worthy of inheriting the power of the King. Throughout this process, Alexander will explore different countries and he will develop personally as well as politically.
