Leverage Redemption Part 2- Release Date, Cast, Plot, Synopsis And More

The first eight episodes of Leverage: Redemption are now on IMDb TV. The second half is coming, and here’s what we know about it so far.

Leverage: Redemption is a revival of the original series. And it’s the truest sense of a revival. The majority of the original characters have returned for another round of helping people from the corporate and political elite. There are a couple of changes to the cast. Timothy Hutton hasn’t returned for the series at all, which the show quickly revealing why devastating reason Nate wouldn’t be a part of the team. Aldis Hodge did return as Hardison, but only as a special guest star. The Hacker role on the team has been passed onto Hardison’s little sis.

Leverage: Redemption Part 2 will have eight episodes like the first part. Here’s what we know about it so far.

Leverage: Redemption Part 2 release date

There isn’t a set release date for Leverage: Redemption just yet. What we do know is that it will arrive sometime in fall 2021, which is still a three-month window.

We’re hoping for early fall, but since the first eight episodes dropped mid-summer, we’re potentially looking at mid-fall.

Leverage: Redemption Part 2 cast

We’re not expecting any major cast changes to the next eight episodes.

We’re expecting all the following to return:

  • Gina Bellman as Sophie Devereaux
  • Christian Kane as Eliot Spencer
  • Beth Riesgraf as Parker
  • Aleyse Shannon as Breanna Casey, Hardison’s sister.
  • Noah Wyle as Harry Wilson

We may see Hodge return for an episode here or there depending on the actor’s schedule and the storyline available.

We do know that James Marsters is going to be part of the second part. It’s not clear just what his role will be, but we can expect some Angel references thrown in here and there.

There isn’t a trailer for the second half of the season just yet. We’ll be sure to bring that when it arrives.

Leverage: Redemption Part 2 synopsis

We’re expecting much of the same as the first eight episodes. It’s all about getting justice for people against corporations, politicians, and other awful members of society.
