Lucky Hank is an upcoming project that sees Odenkirk & AMC reunited. Lucky Hank will see Odenkirk W. Henry Devereaux, Jr., the story will be in the first person. It will take place in a different world from his previous TV and movie work. W. Henry Devereaux, Jr., or Lucky Hank, is a fifty-one-year-old guy who lives in LA and New York with his wife and nine cats. He comes from Texas, where he was raised by an old woman who ran a trailer park. Lucky’s dad was a big-time drug dealer and died while Hank was still in high school. The show will be about how Hank’s early experiences have shaped him and how he approaches life now. Odenkirk will executive produce the show with his Billy O’Brien collaborator and the creator of Lucky Hank, Tom Schroeder. Peter Billingsley will also be involved as an executive producer & director, with Aaron Augenblick directing two episodes of the series.

This show will be released sometime in spring 2023. In addition, the series has released the 1st image featuring Odenkirk and many of the cast. Odenkirk is a very busy man. Within his career, Odenkirk has been nominated for an Emmy twice and received the Tony Award once. In addition, Odenkirk has worked on various Hollywood projects like Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. The series will tell the story of an “unlikely chairman of the English agency in a badly funded college in the Pennsylvania belt. The series will mainly focus on Devereaux, while also going through a midlife crisis, it tries to make the home front work while striving to keep College functional and above the water.
