Synopsis of Lupin series
It is the story of Assane Diop, who is a gentleman thief who wants to avenge the death of his father. Assane’s father moved to France as an immigrant from Senegal for a better life for his only son.
But he was falsely framed by Hubert Pellegrini for the theft of an expensive necklace from his shop. Hubert is shown as a wealthy, powerful, and cunning person. He makes Assane’s father take the blame for the crime.
Assane’s father hangs himself inside the prison out of shame, leaving his teenage son to fate. He, later on, reads the book named ‘ gentleman thief Arsene Lupin’ that was gifted by his father on his birthday.
This inspires Assane to take revenge on the Hubert family.

In an interview with Metro, Kay said that he is planning to make part three with a fresh plot with new characters. Some characters from the previous season might reappear. He says that Babaker and Pelligrini won’t be focused more in part three.
