This news was also confirmed by the reputed twitter leaker @Shonenleaks. The first two seasons received positive responses from fans. MAPPA. The first season is animated by Madhouse and the second season is animated by J.C. Staff This news came out after a month when the series became one of the most anticipated anime on MyAnimeList. Until now the anime has only a teaser, where we see Saitama and Garou which gives us a hint that they are going to fight and after that many fans are waiting for their epic and tremendous battle in anime history. 

What is “One punch Man” about?

“One punch Man” is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by ONE and Illustrated by  Yusuke Murata. The plot revolves around the protagonist of the series, Saitama, a superhero who has grown bored with the absence of challenge in heroism and becomes determined to find an opponent that can pose at least a little threat to him. After meeting Genos, he joins the Heroes Association (HPA). Together they work their way up from the lowest rank to A-Class Rank 6 where they finally take on the cyborg monster Lord Boros. Boros inadvertently revealed himself as Saitama’s rival after attempting to kill him.

The manga was serialized in Shueisha’s “Weekly Shōnen Jump” magazine between May 2012 and June 2016 with the chapters collected into tankōbon volumes by Shueisha. The series is licensed in English by Viz Media, who published the first volume of the series on September 24, 2015. It is also licensed in Germany by Carlsen Comics, who released the first volume on January 21, 2017. The series was also adapted into a 12-episode anime television series by Madhouse which aired between October and December 2015.

MAPPA is a Japanese animation studio based in Tokyo, Japan. The company was established on June 14, 2011, by Masao Maruyama who is a co-founder and former producer of Madhouse. The studio’s name is a portmanteau from ‘Manga Anime Production Assistant’.
