Mike and Sully are back! Monsters At Work: All Details on the New Season of Monster at Work is a new Disney+ series that follows the monster duo as they face new challenges in Monstropolis. It’s coming this July to make audiences nostalgic for the original “Monsters Inc.” film while expanding it with new stories.

This season will include all-new characters such as Mr. Fear’s sister Scary Jo; a monster-in-training called Kiki, and a new human protagonist named Brandon, who starts working at the factory.

Brandon is voiced by actor Bill Hader in his first voice acting role since “Inside Out.” It’s also Disney+’s most expensive animated series to date, with 291 people credited as creators on the show.

Plot Summary of “Monster at Work” Season 2

The season begins with Mike and Sully returning to Monsters, Inc. after a vacation with their monster families on Scare Island—where monsters can roam free without humans seeing them. But all of that changes when they arrive back in Monstropolis: All the power is out!

Suddenly there are new monsters coming from nowhere (or at least nowhere Mike and Sully know), including Scary Jo, Kiki, and Brandon. And these new kids aren’t looking for help like most Normies do – they’re now running the factory! Mike wants to help Normies, but how? And is he up to the challenge of stopping monster-in-training abductions and restoring power all by himself?

There’s a new season coming soon on Disney+, which also means there are plenty more episodes for fans to watch.  The first episode of “Monster At Work” will release this July on Disney+! Follow Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) and James P. Sullivan-a.k.a Sully (John Goodman)–as they resume their monster jobs at Monsters Inc., after taking some time off with their monster families on Scare Island where monsters can roam free without humans seeing them. But all of that changes when they arrive back in Monstropolis.

The second reason that Disney+ needs shows like ‘Monsters At Work’ is that the streaming service caters to young audiences who like this kind of animated entertainment.
