The plot of the series will be based on the life of Marc Spector. Everything that has happened to him from his childhood to adulthood. In the finale, he will be confronted by Khonshu and his guardian who urges him to forget about all the people he loves, so that he can “save” them from death.
Something similar also happened with Daredevil in season 3, when Matt Murdock was fighting Wilson Fisk for the last time. Marc Spector is interested in becoming a mercenary after getting unsatisfied with his life as a lawyer.
The Moon Knight’s backstory is that he is a vigilante who was once a lawyer. He opened his first legal office as an attorney with his wife and sister Kate. But as time went by, he was bored. His wife left for another man and his sister so Marc Spector obsessed about revenge.
After some time, Marc took this law firm to be the Moon Knight and started going after criminals in the streets of New York City like Bushman and Bloodstone.
In the comics, it’s shown that the mental illness of Marc Spector affects his crime-fighting abilities. But in Netflix’s Moon Knight, it will be different. The main character’s struggle with mental illness, the question of whether he can call himself a hero if he is not mentally healthy will be the focus of this series.
Moon Knight has some supernatural powers like Captain America and Iron Man. His power is from Khonshu and he has been blessed by him to take down criminals as a vigilante. That is why people fear him more than other vigilantes despite his martial arts skills and costume being not as powerful as Captain America or Iron Man.
In the comics, Marc Spector has taken down many dangerous criminals all over the world from around the globe. But in Netflix’s Moon Knight, it will be different. The main character, who will be played by Oscar Isaac in this series, is planning on becoming an Avenger like Spiderman and is planning to take down someone big in the crime world.
Moon Knight will be interacting with several members of the Marvel Cinematic Universe like Spiderman, Doctor Strange, Black Panther and Iron Man. Moon Knight’s relationship with Spiderman will be more than just friendly because Marc Spector wants to become a member of the Avengers team which has a good name around the world and he wants to get back at Bushman who was responsible for his family’s death.
There is no news of a Moon Knight movie or TV series after the series has been released on Netflix. But if we remember the release date of this series, it will be released on 30 March, 2022.
