This series will be released on 30 March 2022. Also, the series has been given a designation of CURRENT, which will be released to the public in the long line of regular comics. Moon Knight is being written by Jeff Lemire, who is a fantastic writer but not familiar with this character.
On the other hand, the artist for the series is Greg Smallwood, who makes his Marvel debut on Moon Knight. However, he has worked for Image Comics before. We all have high expectations from both of them, that they will create something good which can give us a new perspective on this character and at least an enjoyable reading experience.

Created by the Creative Director of Kord Industries, Marc Spector is a former mercenary turned hero moon knight. Moon Knight has the powers of flight, super-strength, and superhuman durability. However, his costume was designed to look like that of an Egyptian pharaoh and to help him fulfill his role as the avenging son of Isis.

What inspired you to create the Moon Knight series and what is your favorite part?
This series is inspired by three things- one is from the very interesting story of Moon Knight, another is from his costume and the last and most important is from his powers. I also love this character because of his personality.
We have Marc Spector, who was an American mercenary who was taken captive by a group of priests in Egypt. However, the priests had a plan for him which is making him into a more significant hero, which will include some aspects of neo-mythology idea like the Egyptian god of vengeance and other things along with it.
Why do you think Moon Knight has become such a popular character?
Marc Spector was a very interesting character and he had a very interesting backstory. He was created by a creative director of Kord Industries, Marc Spector. He is also an ex-mercenary and had a sad story behind him.
However, after being captured in Egypt, the priests gave him the chance to become something more than what he used to be and they also made his powers as normal human ones. With this, I think that Moon Knight is also one of the best characters because his powers are weird but he has a lot of human abilities like healing factor, super strength granting abilities, and some other things which are weird but very effective at times.
Do you have any plans to write more Moon Knight stories in the future?
Moon Knight is a very interesting character and I have a lot of stories for him that I want to implement. I also want to know how this character can be affected by other characters in the universe. For example, How can he be affected by other moon-related characters like Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur or Moonstar or Silk?
What is your favorite part about working on the new series?
My favorite part is to create a new take on this character and show it to people who have already read his comics before. Furthermore, I am very excited that people will see my take on the character which they all have already read before.
The writing process is very fun and interesting as I get to rewrite some of my favorite characters even if they are not mine. It also has a lot of challenges. I don’t have any particular plan but I can say that I want to make sure that the script for the last issue will be brilliant and will be great for people who want to see his costume design in one comic book.

Are there any characters or storylines from the comics that you would like to explore?
There are characters that I would like to explore but right now, I don’t have any particular plan. But when I do explore them, they will be different from those already in the comics. There are some cool designs from some of my favorite comic books which are a lot more stylish and cool than those worn by Moon Knight. For example, there is Wonder Woman’s Invisible Jet and Batman’s “Batmobile”. Nowadays, people also buy comics online but it is a bit different than buying a physical book because you cannot touch it and examine it.
