This is the story of Edgar Quintero, who is the mayor of a small town called Las Vegas. He was elected because he carried out many activities in his town and saved the people from a gang. Now his only purpose is to do the same again but he has been caught by FBI agents and has to do whatever they say.
Although the series mainly centers on him, it also focuses on the new tough cop, Officer Frasier Cole (Philip Baker Hall). Cole’s character is actually that of a former DEA agent who was arrested along with Edgar. He was involved in a drug deal that led to his arrest and now has to work for the FBI as an undercover agent.

Can we expect a bigger budget for season 2?
The show’s creator, Brian Gatewood says that they might not get a bigger budget but they’ll definitely try to make better episodes. He says they will more than make up the budget they are bound to get as season 2 is always a little more expensive than the previous one. Also, Jack Black has clarified that he is not going to take any salary from the series. He also says that he is not going to do any promotion for this series as he doesn’t know anything about it. This again does not mean that you will see less of him in a particular season but still, for someone like him who has so much on his plate, it’s an easy decision and you should respect his decision.
