Netflix’s Resort To Love: A Whole Review

Netflix’s resort to love is a romantic comedy that will keep you hooked from the first episode. The story follows Erica, an aspiring pop star who has recently been having some career difficulties.

She takes a job as a wedding planner for her ex-fiance at a resort island resort, where she rediscovers her feelings for him and tries to keep their past relationship a secret from his bride-to-be. Throughout the show, there are many twists and turns but what I enjoyed most was the ending which left me wanting more!

About the movie “Resort to Love.”

Director Steven K. Tsuchida’s “Resort to Love” finds its heroine Erica (Christina Milian) at a rough time in her life. Still reeling from the break-up of her engagement, she sticks around in New York City to try to launch her music career only to watch her hopes dashed when her collaboration with a popular tempestuous male artist (think Kanye West on a bad day) destroys their collaboration onstage at a listening party.

Obviously resorting to love, she takes up a job offer from her ex-fiance as the wedding planner for his resort’s upcoming nuptials. The first hint that “Resort to Love” is not going to be your typical romantic comedy comes when Erica lands in Fiji and finds herself on an island with one small boat and one other person: Russ (Bryan Greenberg) of all people, also engaged once upon a time.

All this would be more than enough material for any rom-com, but Tsuchida has some surprises waiting in store, too, namely the very pregnant bride whom Erica meets almost immediately after being dropped off by helicopter onshore.

The show did take me about three episodes before I started to get hooked and invested in the various characters, but it did end up getting me there. I would recommend this show if you are a fan of romantic comedies or just want a pleasant form of escapism for about an hour at a time.

I have really enjoyed it so far. The resort setting is just beautiful, and all of the characters are interesting with their own unique quirks. Definitely recommend! – Allison R., Houston, TX

This show is a complete train wreck from start to finish; it’s also hilarious at points, but it’s not worth your time if you’re looking for something more serious or intense like 13 reasons why which is another great Netflix series btw Anonymous user; reviewing “Resort to Love.”
