The Pachinko series from Netflix has been one of the most well received in recent years, so it’s a shame that the show was overlooked for Emmys this year. Instead of giving any awards to Pachinko, many of which were deserved and appeared on other shows, there are several huge snubs and surprises that we must not forget. The biggest snubs of the year were the following. Since Netflix canceled all of its original series this year, there was no award for Pachinko as well as no previous nominations. The series has been renewed for season two by Netflix so hopefully, this nomination turns out to be worth it because Pachinko deserved it last year.

Do you know about the release date of the Pachinko series:

This series will be released on 25 March 2022. Also, the series has acquired a 14.1 IMDb rating. Hope you like the series. The saddest thing about this year’s Emmys is that Pachinko was not nominated for any awards. As I said above, it is a well-written drama, with a strong cast, and it deserves to be recognized for its great writing and directing.  The next biggest snub was that neither Frankie Shaw nor Rory O’Malley was nominated for their roles in SMILF. Both Shaw and O’Malley have been nominated in previous years so it is a shame that their work was overlooked by Emmy voters.

Here is the plot of the Pachinko series discussed:

The plot of Pachinko is centered around the Japanese pachinko industry in which young people are brought from all over Japan to work in a vast pool of gambling machines. The workers’ lives center around the game and their few friends who also work there. Each worker has his own with which he works, and each season is devoted to a different game. The pattern of the season, along with a house rule, must be followed. It was pretty obvious that this series was going to be nominated for many awards shows because most people who watched it last year thought that it was one of the best Netflix series they had ever seen.
