Pacific Rim: The Black Season 2 is coming and with it a whole new set of challenges for the humans trying to keep Earth safe from the Kaiju.
A recently released poster teases some of the action we can expect, and it looks like things are going to be even more intense this time around. We see the Kaiju progression from their Mirai forms to their full size, and several Kaiju will be featured in the series – though it’s not clear whether this is just a teaser poster or if some of the new Kaiju will also debut in season two.
This series will be released on 19 April 2022. Also, the series has been available on Netflix. The Black Season 2 has a total of 13 episodes; 10 in the first half and 3 in the second half.
It was not made by Guillermo del Toro or Travis Beacham, but instead, it was produced by Legendary Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television. Submarine Rights Management produced the series for Legendary, which also produces the show for Universal Cable Production along with Atlas Entertainment.
“The Kaiju threat is back, and this time it’s personal. John Boyega (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) stars in Pacific Rim Uprising, the sequel to the 2013 Guillermo del Toro film. Boyega plays Jake Pentecost, a new Jaeger pilot who must lead a rebellious uprising to save mankind from extinction at the hands of its greatest enemy.”
Pacific Rim: The Black Season 2 has received first-day ratings of 0.149 in the 18-49 demographic and 351,000 viewers with a total audience of 1.96 million watching TV on approximately 40% of all television sets.
The series is about Kaiju (giant monsters) who are invading our world and the human race is fighting back. There are the Jaeger warriors who fight the Kaiju in order to save their planet and their civilization. There are also new characters in the whole series and one of them is Jake Pentecost, who joins his brother’s team and becomes a new Jaeger pilot.
I got excited because I know that there is going to be many new characters in the whole series, and all the new monsters are going to be seen in the 2nd season. What is your reaction to Netflix having or not having a Pacific Rim: The Black Season 2 trailer?
I think that Netflix should release this first week because of the popularity of Pacific Rim. If they continue to do like Netflix, then they will waste their money because it is possible that they will lose some viewers who stayed away from the series because of no trailer being released.
I think that the series will be much better than the first season and I am really looking forward to it. I hope all the new characters will be good and some of the old characters will return. I also hope they will have a trailer, but no trailer has been released yet.
I really want to see a series that is new and has new monsters, but I wish they had not killed off some of the main Kaiju in the last season because it was heart-breaking for me. I would want to see that all the Kaiju are alive at the end of this series and there will be much drama because all the humans will try to finish them off once again.
There are so many people who inspired the creators of this series and they are listed below:
Steven DeKnight is working at Warner Bros. Television, and Greg Beeman is doing something like a head of creative at Legendary Entertainment, but he has also worked his way up through the ranks at Universal Studios and 20th Century Fox Studio since he started his career in Hollywood in 1995.
The reason why a second season has been decided is that the producers of the series have seen that the audiences loved it. So they thought that if they made a second season then they could improve on the things they did in the first season.
I hope that there will be no limit to Pacific Rim, it should continue because I think it is a very good series and people love every bit of it. People also want more Kaiju in their series and also want to see new characters as well.
