No one has seen a Paranormal Activity film in theaters since 2012, but that doesn’t mean the series is over. The seventh installment of the franchise will be arriving on September 27th this year, and it’s going to have a lot to live up to. It’s been five years since we’ve seen any footage from these films, so you can bet people are excited for what comes next! ABOUT PARANORMAL 7:
The title derives from these paranormal events being recorded by static security cameras set up in the house and then uploaded to a computer site for viewing. Paranormal Activity is a 2009 American supernatural horror film written and directed by Oren Peli.
The plot revolves around Katie, who moves into a new house with her husband James and their three children. Paranormal events occur in the house, including spontaneous human combustion, apparitions of people hanging from hooks, disembodied voices which laugh maniacally, and the appearance of strange, dark-haired children.
RELEASE DATE:
Paranormal Activity will release on MARCH 4TH, 2022. The film has a budget of $15 million, which made it the most expensive Paranormal Activity film to date. The Paranormal Activity series has been a success, and the seventh installment will be released in 2022.
THE PLOT:
The plot of this movie is unknown, but there are rumors that it will follow the life of a family from Ohio as they investigate a house and its surrounding property for paranormal activity with four cameras set up around their home. There’s also talk about them making contact with an entity that warns them to “please leave.”
The plot of Paranormal Activity is also a mystery, but we do know that the film will take place in a mostly suburban setting, which should be different from previous films! In PA’s tradition, all the information about the seventh film is being tightly guarded, but we do know that it will take place in a mostly suburban setting. The last few films have taken place in one location, so this change of scenery should be interesting!
In 2010, a baby monitor was installed in Micah’s new home to allow her parents to keep an eye on Hannah while they are at work during the day. When strange things start happening, and questions arise about their daughter being taken away from them, Micah’s parents call in the help of a private investigator.
THE STARRING CAST:
The cast has not been announced yet! We’ll just have to stay tuned and hope that it will be released soon! The cast includes Katie Featherston, who reprises her role as the female lead from the first two films in the series, and Alma Kritzer, who played a minor character in PA-II but was cut out of subsequent versions for unknown reasons.
Micah, Hannah, and Kevin are all played by different actors than in previous films. The only actor to appear is Brianne Howey, who plays Micah’s sister-in-law Ashley. Rafe Spall has been reported to be in talks to play Micah.
PRODUCTION:
Filming for Paranormal Activity was slated to begin in early 2019, which is perfect timing because filming for the sixth film wrapped up on October 21, 2018. The film was distributed by Paramount Pictures. Paranormal Activity was made by Oren Peli in 2007 with no budget at all. The film features Katie Featherston as Micah Porter, who lives in a new house with her husband James and their daughter, Hannah.
REVIEWS:
There are no reviews yet, just trailers. There are no ratings either because there’s not a release date set for the movie yet, so we can’t review it until it comes out. The Ghost Dimension was released on October 23rd and had a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 27%.
EXPECTATIONS:
we are expecting this to be scary and thrilling like all the other movies so far! It’s hard to say if this will be the last of Paranormal Activity movies, but we are excited to see what it has in store! we are not sure what to expect from this film because we haven’t seen any of the previous ones.
