Peacock has announced Pitch Perfect TV Reboot. The series is written by Meghan Amram and she will serve as executive producer and showrunner. Pitch Perfect the film was released in 2012 to critical acclaim and commercial success.

It is a comedy movie about young women who attend Barden University, an elite college with a competitive all-male singing group called The Treblemakers. It stars Anna Kendrick (Beca Mitchell), Rebel Wilson (Fat Amy), and Brittany Snow (Chloe Beale). Elizabeth Banks serves as Executive Producer on Reboot.

Adam Devine will reprise his role in the series. He is best known for the Comedy Central series Workaholics. Fans are excited about Adam Devine returning to Pitch Perfect TV reboot, he played Bumper Allen who was a member of The Treblemakers. Pitch Perfect movie co-star Anna Kendrick shared her excitement on Twitter, she posted “I get back into training now!” Elizabeth Banks also announced that only select original cast members would be coming back so don’t expect any other characters from the film to return.
