Monday, Paramount+ announced that production of The Offer had been temporarily halted due to a positive case of COVID-19. The show, based on the making of the Godfather film, has stopped filming due to a positive case of COVID-19. It will detail the experiences that producer Al Ruddy had while working with Francis Ford Coppola on the Godfather film.

The show is also bolstered by a stellar cast that includes Miles Teller, Matthew Goode, Dan Fogler, Juno Temple, Lou Ferrigno, and Colin Hanks. While there is no exact release date, Paramount Television Studios has stated that it will arrive sometime in 2022. Now, The Offer has stopped filming for the time being.

Reason Behind Stopping of Production :

The production of The Offer has been temporarily halted due to a positive case of COVID-19. Paramount+ is the new streaming service that will be launched on January 18th, and it seems as though all their focus is currently placed there with the release date looming near. This shutdown has also come during a time where the Delta variant of COVID-19 has been sweeping the nation, especially in Los Angeles. This variant of COVID-19 has been talked about a lot recently, especially with how it has shut down other productions, with many fearing how much it could harm the country.
