The Purge is a very controversial issue in America today and has given the privilege to examine what would happen if there was freedom to do whatever one wanted for a period of time. Imagine the chaos that would ensue if everyone does whatever they want at once in one place. It’s like people running wild and destroying everything around them – perhaps even hurting their enemies.

The favorite characters of James Demonaco are his parents because he felt that it is important to show them in a good light. However, there are many other characters such as the people in the Verrazano Bridge and those who are attacked by The Purge. He also enjoys showing how things can go wrong during The Purge.

It is likely that as The Purge approaches, there will be more destruction within our own city and more chaos will ensue but at least we know that the family is safe in their house. DeMonaco felt that it was important to show a happy ending to the series so they would not deviate from it while they are creating this series.
