NCIS Season 19, Episode 11: “Alexus Renee Celebrity Myxer” aired on CBS on Tuesday, February 5th and we’ve got the recap for you! In this episode, NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and his team investigate the death of a Navy officer who was working with the Department of Defense. The victim’s wife, Alexus Renee (guest star Nafessa Williams), is a famous singer and the team has to deal with paparazzi everywhere they go. Meanwhile, NCIS Director Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll) is dealing with personal issues.
At the opening of the episode, NCIS Special Agent McGee (Peter Scanavino) is playing with two of his daughters at home. After he comes back in, he chats with his wife Claudia (Mariana Klaveno), who asks him if his meeting with Director Vance went well. McGee explains that it did, adding that Vance told him to take some time off and rest – which he does by taking a nap on the couch.

In this episode, NCIS’ Gibbs and Tony must work together to solve the case with McGee as the leader trying to get answers out of him. Gibbs doesn’t feel that he can trust Tony with the truth about what happened when he was kidnapped and tortured by a group of bad guys. However, Tony is able to convince Gibbs that he’s still his friend and will always be there for him if he needs him in a crisis which he does immediately after they leave the helipad, where they get into an argument. Gibbs has a heart attack and Tony’s there to save his life again.
At the beginning of the episode, McGee explains that he has a hunch that an assassin is now targeting Vance and his family. He warns Gibbs that if anything happens to Vance or anyone in his family, they’ll pay.
