The Samaritan series is a gritty and hard-hitting crime drama that features an uncompromising, morally ambiguous, but ultimately just hero. It is based on a screenplay by Max Allan Collins and co-produced with Lorenzo di Bonaventura. In the series opener, “First Kill,” we meet a strange young man who seems to be pulling the strings of his own life as well as those of other people like puppets on strings. He’s called “the Samaritan” because he kills bad guys who are let out of prison so they can do more damage to society.

The police refer to his name as “Sylvester Stallone” but he is not who you think he is. “The Samaritan…” and the four other episodes (including three written by Max Allan Collins and starring Vincent D’Onofrio) were filmed in Atlanta, Georgia in the spring of 2001. Not much has been said about this series although it was supposed to be released at the end of that year, mid-2002 which did not happen.

Do you know about the release date of the Samaritan series:

This series will be released on 26 August 2022. Also, the series has been canceled but the producer says that there will be a release of a new series in the future. The new series will be based on the same story, but with different characters.

Here is the plot of the Samaritan series discussed:

The plot of Samaritan is the same as that of The Samaritan, but the characters have been changed, especially the main character. In this series, there will be a man called Benjamin Bocah who is a businessman and lives in New York. He has been sent to the hospital because his friend John Walker has died, and he has to be fitted with some artificial parts.

While he is there he meets a girl called Katherine and falls in love with her. They even have an affair which John’s wife finds out about it which further infuriates her. Then one night when Benjamin goes home to meet Katherine she gets shot by some unknown man who escapes from the place leaving Ben shocked about it.

What inspired the director to write the Samaritan series?

The series is inspired by a true story of one of the actual characters called “Sam.” The real-life person, Sam, has his own Wikipedia page here. He is one of the first people to be fitted with an artificial leg. He is also known for being something of a recluse with few friends and no family other than the people who helped him get the artificial leg. His motivation came during his time in prison. He was arrested after killing two police officers and he has been on death row for years until his execution.

Who are the director’s favorite characters and why?

The favorite characters of the directors are “Sam” and “John Walker”. They have seen the true story of Sam and like it so much they decided to make a series out of it. The director says that “Sam” is one of the most interesting characters he’s ever seen in the movie. He says that Sam has been described as a psychopath but one who is misunderstood and until recently had been much less well-known than most serial killers.

What are the ratings of the Samaritan series?

The ratings are mixed because the director said that it has been good but not brilliant and he is planning for the next series to be better. The series was told by the director that he is planning to make a movie out of it but he needs more money.
