Already proving to be another enormous year for the horror genre, M3GAN’s currently upstaging all of them with the amount of terror it’s been delivering this year. The Scream franchise is coming back to theatres in March, and fans are excited. The marketing for the sequel started gleefully stabbing horror fans’ hearts last month. Kevin Williamson, the original writer of the series, praises this New York-centric episode. IWhile on the press tour for Williamson’s new COVID slasher Sick, the writer talked to Syfy about his excitement for “Scream VI”. “It doesn’t feel like part 6. It feels like you’re witnessing this huge, hugely new reconstruction,” Williamson said. In a conversation with a journalist, Wes Craven spoke about Ghostface’s latest killing spree. He said that “I think it’s everything and more. You should go see it. The movie feels new, it feels fresh, it feels like a new movie.”

“Scream” is an American horror franchise created by Kevin Williamson and Wes Craven. The series started with Scream in 1996. The second installment, Scream 2 was released in 1997. In 1998, the third installment of Scream 3 was released with the fourth installment being released 12 years later in 2010 with a reboot of the same name directed by Wes Craven and written by Kevin Williamson followed in 2015, which was later followed by two sequels. Scream was the first film of the franchise.

Sam Carpenter moves back to Woodsboro to attend college at Uptown University and in doing so, goes back on old memories with her old friends, mainly Billy Loomis. She meets her dean and soon discovers that the dean is her reporter Gale Weathers. then she moved to New York. Gale did not have the best time because of the murders in Woodsboro when she filed a report about them, but she still has to fight for her job and prove that she isn’t a quitter. Sidney also discovers that Billy Loomis is back in town and he´s been keeping tabs on her every move.

Release date of the movie
