Scream is back, and this time it’s streaming on Paramount+! The Scream franchise has always been a fan favorite, and the new Paramount+ release is sure to please even the most hardcore horror fans.
With skipped PVOD and a price of only $4.99, Scream is set to be a big success for Paramount+. So if you’re looking for a good scare, don’t miss Scream: Skips PVOD to Soar at $4.99: Now Streaming On Paramount+! It’s nice to see that the PVOD is being skipped on Scream. It’s a horror flick, so it’s unlikely to get much traction on Prestige TV, and it’s way too new to be relevant in the catalog. I’m always surprised to see Paramount skip PVOD, they’re not known for doing that as a studio, but it seems like they’re starting to appreciate the value of movies more than ever before.
I’m excited about this release; I can’t wait to give it a watch and let you all know if its worth buying! Paramount+ is the newest streaming service brought to you by Paramount Pictures.

What inspired you to write the Scream series of books and movies?
A movie inspired by the book inspires this series. So, first, we have the Last Action Hero, in which Arnold Schwarzenegger plays a fictional actor who is injected into the real world, where he saves the day.
Then we have Scream, in which Drew Barrymore’s character is killed off nine times, and at one point, someone dressed as her character comes back to life to kill other characters. And finally, we have I Know What You Did Last Summer.
What is your favorite book or movie in the series, and why?
I Know What You Did Last Summer is my favorite as I get to see a different twist on it. But I also like The Crazies and Scream because they’re fun to watch. I’d have to say that my favorite of all of them is The Crazies. It’s a great story at a great reasonably priced. That’s hard to do with any horror media these days.
Is there anything that you dislike about the series?
There have been so many of them in the last few years, which is nice for fans, but for others, not so much. As I said, we’ve had so many products in the last few years that it’s hard to keep track of everything. And even if you did, some people want to read a book or watch a movie once and then be done with it.
What has been your favorite experience working on the Scream series?
My favorite part of working on this series has been getting to write for different characters, who all have interesting backstories and conflicts about them – some of them are watching their characters grow up as they play out their roles in the film. Others are experiencing new relationships as they film new scenes. Also, giving readers more insight into the story is another interesting experience I enjoy.
Do you plan to write more books or make more movies in the Scream series?
I have enjoyed working on this series and working with the cast we’ve had so far and the people I’ve worked with on the Scream movie. So I think it might be time to start thinking about another one.
What is your favorite kind of horror movie?
I used to see a midnight screening of Frankenstein at a theater in Hollywood while it was still playing there, back when I was fourteen years old. (I thought it was hilarious that they still had a theater showing it.) I think horror movies have been becoming more violent recently – there’s always been violence in them, but now they seem much more graphic and gory than before.
