The plot follows the dysfunctional Roy family, who owns and operates one of America’s largest media and electronics conglomerates. Awards:

The first season was nominated for Best TV Comedy Series at the 2018 Critics’ Choice Television Awards, with Brian Cox winning Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and Sarah Snook receiving an honorable mention for Best Guest Performer in a Drama Series. Succession was nominated for Outstanding Achievement in Comedy at the 2019 Television Critics Association Awards, with Jeremy Strong receiving an honorable mention for Individual Achievement in Comedy.

Renewal Status:

Roman Roy is about to step down from his position as CEO for health reasons while still trying to maintain control over the company he spent decades building. Meanwhile, his children fight amongst themselves in an attempt to gain control over the company.
