Succession is a satiric drama television series created by the British screenwriter Jesse Armstrong. The plot follows the dysfunctional Roy family, who owns and operates one of America’s largest media and electronics conglomerates. Season 3 will be released on HBO in 2022, with ten episodes airing over three weeks.

Revenue:

The first season of Succession was replayed on Sky Atlantic in the UK and HBO Asia. The revenue for this year’s second season is expected to gross $39,000,000 with a production budget of $30,000,000.

Awards:

The first season was nominated for Best TV Comedy Series at the 2018 Critics’ Choice Television Awards, with Brian Cox winning Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and Sarah Snook receiving an honorable mention for Best Guest Performer in a Drama Series. Succession was nominated for Outstanding Achievement in Comedy at the 2019 Television Critics Association Awards, with Jeremy Strong receiving an honorable mention for Individual Achievement in Comedy.

Renewal Status:

There is no official information about the plot of season three, but we do know that there are some changes as it comes back for a third run. It was revealed that the plot of Succession Season would be more focused on Kendall, while there will also be a new character in season three – and it may come between him and Roman.

The Plot:

The plot is set in New York City and follows the Roy family that runs a massive media conglomerate which they inherited from their powerful father. When he dies, his children begin to fight for control over the company, thus creating tension between them.

Succession Season three plot revolves around the future of a global media empire. Roman Roy is about to step down from his position as CEO for health reasons while still trying to maintain control over the company he spent decades building. Meanwhile, his children fight amongst themselves in an attempt to gain control over the company.
