Reviews are mixed among fans for the novel but have been better received by reviewers. Amazon paper girl is an interesting start to a series that has the potential for greatness. I hope it will be more focused in future installments and not have so many characters to keep track of, but it was still enjoyable enough to read the second book when it comes out next year.-Goodreads review.
Production and filming:
Production was filmed in Los Angeles, California, between November 2017 to April 2018 for eight episodes, with filming taking place in various locations around California. Filming of the series is set to be completed in May 2022 with post-production beginning shortly after and continuing into July.

Ratings have not been released yet, however, reviews from critics are high with a 91% rating of freshness on Rotten Tomatoes.
