Camila Cabello stars as Cinderella in this Disney movie that will be releasing March 13th! This is a fairytale come true for many people who grew up watching Disney movies with their parents.

The movie follows Cinderella’s life as she is abused and mistreated by her stepmother, Lady Tremaine (played by Cate Blanchett), in the absence of her father. When Prince Charming comes into town looking for his lost love with no success, he decides to let a ball be organized.

THE PLOT:
The PLOT of the movie is inspired by Aladdin and The Princess and the Frog. We are going to see a new side of Cinderella in this story, as she decides to fight for her love with Prince Charming. This will make it different from the Disney movies we grew up watching when our parents would tell us stories of this fairy tale. Like the Disney films, this magical story is about a young girl from an impoverished family who lives with her stepmother and two ugly stepsisters.
One day she meets a prince at the ball organized by his father to find out if there’s still any love left in the kingdom. The PLOT of this Camila Cabello Cinderella Movie is going to be darker and will have a more modern, relevant message. The movie stars Selena Gomez as the stepmother, Hailee Steinfeld as one of the stepsisters, and Camilla Cabello herself in both roles. Princess Cinderella from 16th century France and the modern-day Cinderella in Los Angeles.
THE STARRING CAST:
- The CAST of the movie is very diverse, as it features actors from all over Latin America. This will make this film different than any other “Cinderella” movie we have seen before.
- Selena Gomez will portray the stepmother, a high-society lady that is married to an imperfect man. The two of them have three children together: one good daughter and two awful stepsisters who are mean and nasty to her.
- Hailee Steinfeld will play Serenity, the kinder “stepsister.” She’s not the prettiest, but she’s the most caring one.
- Alyson Stoner will play Sammie, the pretty “stepsister.” She is very selfish and always gets what she wants.

EXPECTATIONS:
This is going to be a big film, and there are high expectations for it. The reviews from the world premiere in Madrid were very positive, so there’s hope that this will live up to Disney’s expectations! Cinderella’s life is turned upside down when her father dies, and she becomes a servant to a cruel woman, Lady Tremaine. Her only escape from this unhappy new reality is the fairy godmothers who help her look for love with Prince Charming and go to the ball, where they finally get their happiness.
RATINGS:
The movie has already been released in the United States, and critics have had very positive reviews. Many of them found that Camila Cabello’s performance is what makes this film worth watching. The AARP gave it three-and-a-half stars out of four, stating, “Cinderella will make you believe in magic again.”
