The film will be titled The Conjuring 4: Annabelle Comes Home and will take place in the late 1970s. This all takes place before the 1977 haunting of Lorraine Warren, which we saw in The Conjuring when Ed and Lorraine first met. In the movie, we’ll see a young couple, Roger and Judy Zayman (played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga), move into a new home with their daughter Annabelle. As they settle down to life with their daughter who had just outgrown her crib, they are unaware that something dark is lurking in their basement.
The Caymans discover this terrible secret when strange occurrences start to pop up. Annabelle herself is also not very happy with her new home. She demands to be let back into her old room, which is the attic of the house, where she was locked away decades ago. As hell on earth begins to pour into this unsuspecting family’s life, they must rely on Ed and Lorraine Warren to rid their home of its demonic abomination. Ed and Lorraine carry their usual field kit with them as they investigate this haunting in a tale that takes place before The Conjuring.
