The Hunger Games: Release Date, Plot and Bonus Content Revealed

We finally have some details about The Hunger Games movie release date, plot and bonus content! The movie’s plot has been kept tightly under wraps, but we now know that it will follow the book closely. In addition to the standard theatrical release, there will also be a special “IMAX Fan Event” one day earlier, on March 23. This event will include exclusive footage and a Q&A with the cast and crew.

The Hunger Games is a futuristic tale set in a country called Panem. The Games fight to the death between 24 young people pitted against each other in different environments representing the United States of America.

Do you know about the release date of The Hunger Games:

Also, the series was released in Brazil, Mexico, and Germany on the same date. This book series is about a beautiful young girl and a boy who both have their whole lives ahead of them. But all that changes when she is chosen by lottery to participate in a fight to the death (The Hunger Games) for the amusement of her Capitol audience.

She wrote it using an internet forum, Yahoo! Groups, and Usenet newsgroups as her sources of information and many books on ancient history and mythology. She also took inspiration from Romeo and Juliet, Braveheart, Romeo and Juliet, and The Giver.

Here is the plot of The Hunger Games discussed:

The whole country has to participate in the yearly Hunger Games. It used to be just every boy and girl between 12 and 18, but now anyone between 12 and 18 may enter. This book has received many good reviews from readers from both America and the rest of the world.

The young American author Suzanne Collins has always been writing stories about children to always write about a child who can think for herself, not just act as a pawn in their parents’ games. So because of this, she was able to write about a character that is not just concerned about her life but also the other children living in her district.

What are your thoughts on the movie adaptation of The Hunger Games?

The thoughts on the movie adaptation of The Hunger Games: in my opinion, this film is like a roller coaster ride that has great scenes, amazing fun, and excitement, then some scary moments when you think the movie is going to end up with something good; but then you get a feeling of emptiness inside you.

Are you eager for it? Will it be worth seeing?

If I want this movie to be a great movie like all other movies, my answer will be yes. Since I love the book, I am really curious about the characters such as Peeta Mellark, who has a soft heart and Gale Hawthorne, who is so strong in their relationship. I want to see if the movie will be like the book or not!

Do you know how much duration it will take and when it will come?

The duration is 2 hours and 20 minutes long, and the movie will be released on October 22, 2012, in America. I can’t wait for this movie since I am a big fan of The Hunger Games book series.  My favorite part of the book is when Peeta Mellark asks Katniss Everdeen if she remembers the first time they kissed, but then he says that he got in trouble, and Katniss says that it doesn’t matter because she liked it and I like this scene because I can relate to it.

Did you like how they portrayed the characters and the storyline?

The past couple of days, I have been thinking about the Hunger Games movie. I wondered how they would make the characters look and how they would portray the storyline.  I think that they will portray them as they are in the book. But, also, they must make sure that they stay loyal to the book so that people who never read The Hunger Games will start reading it!

Are there any changes or additions that you would have liked?

Not! I don’t think that they should change or add anything since the book is great, in my opinion. If they are going to change something, it will ruin the movie, so they have to be very careful. I am glad that Elizabeth Banks will play Effie Trinket because she is good at comic relief, but I wish they would cast a different actor for Gale Hawthorne since he doesn’t have blond hair like in the book.
