The Last Airbender series is an American animated television series created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. The series is told in a non-traditional style, paralleling the rise of a new Fire Nation soldier named Aang, who has been frozen in an iceberg for 100 years after losing his ability to use the Air Nomad skills of air bending, earthbending, and water bending. On his journey, he befriends three young waterbenders with whom he learns ajar the bending series was developed by Nickelodeon as an adaptation of the animated series “Avatar The Last Airbender” which aired on Nickelodeon. The series follows Aang’s journey to learn the lost art of being a bender in a world where bending is considered a forbidden art and was preceded by three original Nickelodeon television movies.
