CinemaCon is always a major event for movie fans and industry insiders, and this year was no exception. The Warner Bros. presentation was one of the most highly anticipated events of the convention, and they did not disappoint. The studio debuted a sizzle reel for their upcoming film The Nun 2, which is set to be the next installment in The Conjuring franchise. The footage looked absolutely terrifying, and it left the audience buzzing with excitement. If you’re a fan of horror movies, then you definitely don’t want to miss this one.
For those who don’t know, The Nun (or as we like to call her, The Dame) was introduced in 2018’s The Conjuring 2. Played by Bonnie Aarons, she is a demonic nun who terrorizes a family in the Northumbrian countryside. All of the footage from that film took place in 1976 when we got to see Lorraine and Ed Warren investigate the Amityville case (the basis for the first movie in this franchise).

The plot of the film is all too familiar: in the dark woods lies a seemingly haunted nun, and she is up to no good. The film has all the makings of an amazing horror movie: there are creepy noises, eerie music, and plenty of jump scare.
