“How I Met Your Father” is told in two timelines. In the present-day timeline, 21-year-old Sophie from Ohio and her two best friends, Valentina and Sid, travel to New York City for a job interview. Background of the show
On December 14, 2016, it was reported that Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger were destined to rewrite the pilot for the initial spin-off, retitled “How I Met Your Father”, Executive producers are Craig Thomas and Carter Bays. This came after the production of the 2014 CBS pilot “How I Met Your Dad”, which did not move forward. Later, it was revealed that the plan would be postponed until further notice after Aptaker and Berger agreed to sign contracts with 20th Century Fox Television that would see them both promoted to executive producers and co-showrunners on This Is Us alongside Dan Fogelman. Then Hulu ordered a 10-episode season of the spin-off series How I Met Your Father on April 21, 2021.

In 2030, the woman narrates how she met Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor). She says that before that moment, she didn’t believe in one true love or even soul mates. However, by the end of the series, she is married and has two children, calling her mother “the love of my life.” Craig Thomas and Carter Bays, who were executive producers on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” and Michael Patrick King, who was executive producer on “Sex and the City,” created “How I Met Your Mother.” The pilot aired on September 19, 2005.

Based on 19 reviews, the weighted average review site Metacritic gave the movie a score of 49 out of 100, classifying the reviews as “mixed or average.”
