The Time Traveler’s Wife was a movie that was released in 2009 and starred Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams. The movie was based on the novel of the same name by Audrey Niffenegger. The story is about a man who travels through time and his wife, who does not have the power to travel through time herself. The couple has to deal with the problems that arise from their unique situation. The movie was not very well-received by critics, but it looks like HBO is going to do a better job with the series.

The title of the series is The Time Traveler’s Wife: Series and it will be based on the book of the same name. There are not any details about what is in the series but it is said that this will be a comedic drama show.

What inspired you to write The Time Traveler’s Wife series?

The series is inspired by my novel. It’s a kind of continuation, a TV series that follows the book but also goes beyond it. The Time Traveler’s Wife is about love, relationships and the unpredictability of life – which are themes that everyone can relate to. Plus, it has time travel! There is something for everyone!

What do you think viewers will like about The Time Traveler’s Wife: Series?

People are always interested in how their favorite books translate to film or TV and I think they will find that this adaptation keeps the spirit of the story while making some fun and exciting changes in other aspects of it.

Do you have a favorite book in the series, or one that was more difficult?

This is a very difficult question to answer because each episode tells a different story. But that being said, I think this is my favorite character. I’m so thrilled with the casting of Theo James as Henry DeTamble. He does everything beautifully and his performance touched me deeply every time I watched it.

We all know that actors are people first and professionals second but more and more, we’re seeing them take on roles that aren’t just about delivering lines or being an “actor”. This is an actor’s job because it is such an intimate role: the cornerstone of any relationship – romantic or familial – is love.

If you could travel through time, what era would you choose to visit and why?

Can I visit all eras? Are we talking about non-stop travel or do I get to return? In that case, the 1980s. I wanted to be a child of the 1980s ever since my mother told me that she and my father met when he asked her for her number while they were in line at a movie theater waiting for E.T. I love pop music, especially Prince and Madonna.

Are there any other projects in the works that you can tell us about?

I’ve been writing a screenplay that is a family drama and I have another project that’s in development, but I can’t say anything about either at this point since they are still in early stages. I think the most important part of writing a novel is to have a clear idea of who your characters are and what their journey will be. The time travel elements need to work within the framework of your story and support, not dictate, it, so that you can have a satisfying ending that resonates with readers.
