This week The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 8 aired part 1 of the season finale. The episode is titled “For Blood.” The story continues on from The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 7. The part one finale ended with major cliffhangers for us in 2022. Episode 8 was all about the battle between Maggie and Pope. This week they get their chance but not without some life-changing moments for one or two of our favorite characters.

A recap into The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 8

Episode 8 had rain of fire and fierce battle. A storm besieges Alexandria with the survivors battling to keep walkers at the inlet. Then after that storm brings down a few of the walls. Maggie’s group brings their swarm to Meridian. Leah becomes nauseated with Pope’s insensible ignore for the lives of the Reapers. It is because one Reaper is murdered by the masked Reaper among the crowd. As night falls, the Reapers start pulverizing the crowd with land mines. Daryl helps Maggie and Gabriel invade Meridian and permit walkers interior.

Then finally Daryl confesses to Leah his devotion to Maggie. Leah is dismayed but when Pope plans to fire a hwacha at walker and Reapers alike, she kills Pope. In spite of Daryl welcoming her to connect with his family, Leah denies it. She decides to remain faithful to her family with the Reapers. Then she leads as the authority. Leah outs Daryl’s genuine devotion to the other Reapers and assaults them with hwacha.

How does The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 8 part 1 end?

The series ended with major cliffhangers. The most significant one includes the battle between Maggie and Pope. The fierce fire battle seemed like a rain of fire. There was a change in guard. This made the fans speculate how part 2 will be like.
