The Wonder series is an upcoming American drama television series created by Davis F. Wilson, which will air on Netflix. The show is based on a comic book series of the same name by Wilson and artist J. H. Williams III.  And tells the story of a young girl named Auggie Pullman who was born with facial deformities due to facioscapulohumeral dystrophy (FSHD), but becomes a media sensation around the world after attending school for the first time in Florida under his new name, Wonder from Above, which she eventually renamed Wonder Woman-Augustus Quinn as a tribute to her surrogate father, Steve Trevor aka Superman.

Auggie is subsequently expelled from school for being a distraction to the other students. After being brought home by his mother, Auggie is told that he will soon be allowed to attend public school anyway and will be able to leave soon as long as he continues behaving himself. This however doesn’t seem to work out well for him and he gets involved in various misadventures such as swimming in a fountain, driving a car in his pants, and using cake frosting as eyeliner.
