As we all know, sequels and prequels have been dominating the box office for years. So, it’s not shocking that a movie studio would come up with an idea to make a movie out of what happens before the first Jurassic Park. The new film is called “Uncharted” and will be in theatres on January 20th, 2022. Here are some details about this upcoming blockbuster!
ABOUT UNCHARTERED MOVIE :
The movie is about the first meeting between Dr. Alan Grant and John Hammond on an island off Costa Rica, but in this version, they are not speaking to each other because of a conflict over whether or not there should be more than one set of dinosaurs roaming free on InGen’s newest resort.
PRODUCTION:
The movie was filmed in Vancouver and New Orleans from June 2020 to October 2021. Filming started in June 2020 and is set to end in October 2021. The production team will be working with over 200 cast members, 500 extras, and many more people who are involved behind the scenes for this movie release. The film’s director, J.A. Bayona, is known for his work on “The Impossible” and “A Monster Calls.”
THE PLOT:
Dr. Alan Grant has a dream of living peacefully as a hermit until his old friend John Hammond calls him to the island of Isla Sorna. Hammond is dying and wants Grant’s help in showing his company that there are still dinosaurs left on this long-forgotten site, and he needs Dr. Grant to validate his claim by giving a speech at an event commemorating InGen’s new resort opening.
The movie begins with the first date between Owen Grady and Claire Dearing. The two get to know each other but are interrupted by an incident at the park they were visiting, which leads to their eventual encounter with Indominus Rex (I-Rex). One of the newest additions is lawyer Zia Rodriguez who has been working on the island for about six months and is tasked to help Claire Dearing make a presentation.
