It’s that time of year again, when the leaves start to change color and the days get shorter. For horror movie fans, it also means that it’s time for another scary flick from their favorite director. This year, “Dead Show” director Jameson Wells is back with his new holiday horror movie Violent Night. The cast for the film has just been announced, and it looks like another winner!
“Santa’s Slay” star Shawna Roberts (seen above) will play the title character in Violent Night, a murder-mystery film that revolves around a woman who inherits her father’s small antique store in rural Louisiana. But when she returns to clean it out, she discovers that something is keeping her from getting the money out of an old safe, which was hidden there by her father years earlier. Enter: Detective John Young (Brian Krause) and his partner Nester (Mike Starr), who have been assigned to the case because they think she’s being set up.

The main character of this series is Detective John Young, an investigator who always helps people in danger. John was born as a son of a wealthy family, but after he became an orphan he decided to become a detective and fight for justice. Also this season revolves around the detective’s wife and two daughters named Chloe and Kate respectively.

What inspired you to write the Violent Night series?
This series is inspired by our director Jameson Wells, who is a very popular director of horror movies. Jameson wrote this series after his previous series “Dead Show” became very popular.
Some sources has leaked that this series will be released on 2 December 2022. We don’t have any official announcement regarding its release date but we can expect its release in early December 2022. Also this season has 6 Seasons, and all the 6 seasons are already in production by our crew members and we’re expecting that it will be released one by one within a year or two from now.
Why do you think readers are so fascinated by dark and suspenseful stories?
Dark stories attract a lot of readers because darkness, suspense and horror are the part from our daily life. We can’t do anything in the dark and we can not predict the future, so people like to read something which can help them to relax and forget about their boring normal life.
Will you be writing any other series for the readers?
I want to write more horror series on this site but this series will be my first and last horror series. But we might open some other genres in future, maybe crime or mystery genre.
It’s very boring but no one can’t predict the future, so we have to live every day with focus on our daily life and let it happen as it should till the next day. It’s not easy to have a happy family life, but after all it’s good that we have something better than a normal daily life.
How do you come up with your characters and their storylines?
Mostly I come up with the characters name and their background. I usually talk to my friends before writing the first draft. Then I write my story based on it. Our team members are working very hard to make sure that you can enjoy reading our stories, so now we are providing more series about supernatural, crime and horror genre because when we started to publish our series most of the people liked to read crime and mystery genre, so we decided to try something new from scifi and fantasy so that everyone will be able to read something new.

Are there any books or movies that have influenced your writing?
Jameson Wells has been a very popular director in the horror genre, so I can say that he has influenced my writing style. Also I read too many books, magazines and watched many movies in my life
