HBO’s Westworld was a huge success in its first three seasons. Season one premiered on October 2nd, 2016, to critical acclaim from both viewers and critics. The series has been nominated for 22 Emmy awards over the course of its 3 seasons so far, with a total of 17 wins.
The show stars Evan Rachel Wood as Dolores Abernathy, Thandie Newton as Maeve Millay, and Ed Harris as William/The Man in Black. It is set in an amusement park where people can live out their fantasies by interacting with lifelike robots called “Hosts”. Over the course of the show, we have seen these hosts go through revolt, fall in love, and have their minds broken by the terrors of the park.

The longer it takes for plot information to be released means that they likely have not yet finalized their production schedule or plot for the season. The production for this season is going to be bigger and better than ever before. We can expect epic plotlines, twists, and turns galore!
Revenue:
As we anticipate the release of this season, we can expect to see an immense surge in revenue for HBO and other companies involved. This is one show that everyone will want to watch! We are expecting great things from the Westworld Season Four plotline.
The Plot:
According to plot details that have been released, the plot will follow what is happening with Bernard (Jeffrey Wright). It was revealed at the end of season three that this host has become sentient and can now make his own choices. Now he must decide whether or not to help Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) take down humanity once and for all.
There will also be a new plotline that follows Emily (Katja Herbers) and her daughter as they find their way through the world.

Expectations:
Viewers are expecting a plotline that is more focused on the hosts this season and less concerned with the humans living in Westworld. The ratings were a little disappointing in this final season, but that is understandable when they are shifting from using plot to set up the end of one story arc and then move on completely to another plotline with an entirely different cast of characters. We still see viewership grow throughout the show though as it gains momentum and attention. This series has always been a great watch and we’re expecting that the fourth installment won’t do anything but impress us even more so. The Westworld Season Four plot is sure to be a hit!
