What is “The Boys” about?
The Boys season 4 is a story about a world where superheroes can do whatever they want. The boys also protect the people of their city without any scrutiny or second thought. The boys have been there for years and have controlled everything in their interests. The boys are all dead inside. The leader, Hughie Campbell, is dying and he wants Billy Butcher, the old leader to step down. They want the new leader to be someone they can control so they take over and make him one of them. He hates them like nothing on Earth but can’t fight back. The new guys also add another boy to their team who has powers that nobody else has. He cannot be controlled by Hughie or Billy.
Who is the creator of “The Boys”?
Garth Ennis is the creator of The Boys. He is a comic book writer born on February 16, 1960, in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He grew up in the village of Cookstown, County Tyrone in Ulster. He said that there was no workaround and his father was a builder, who never had much work either. So he used to read comics and he always wanted to be a painter or a cartoonist when he was young. He enjoyed reading EC Comics because they had the humor and horror he loved. He grew up in the Soviet Union when it was a big country and he received free comic books from a friend. He lived there from 1975-1977, but then came back to Northern Ireland because he wanted to start attending college. He began to draw cartoons for the local newspaper “The Republican” which became his first job as a cartoonist.
The storyline of “The Boys” season 3
The Boy’s season 3 is expected to focus on the character of Hughie. Hughie is supposed to go through a dramatic change in his life. After a superhero kills someone close to him, he decides that superheroes need to be stopped. But he does not have any real power and he is desperate for it. So, Billy sends him to Australia for additional training with a special superhero team on the condition that he will never return. He becomes an assassin, who kills one superhero after another and posts taunting videos about it online.
The release date of season 4
Amazon Prime Video has yet to reveal the exact release date, but we do know that season 4 will be released at the end of 2022 or the beginning of 2023.
