Why many businesses are investing in Google services

Google Pay-Per-Click (PPC) services are an effective way to advertise your products or services regardless of the industry in which you operate. Whether you’re in e-commerce, service, finance, travel, mobile apps, shopping comparison sites and many more verticals, Google PPC allows you to reach potential customers actively searching for your product or service.

The PPC process can be broken down as follows:

  • A user searches for a specific term, known as the “search query” on Google’s search engine. For example, “buy shoes”.
  • The search query enters into a list of advertisements that appear along with the organic results. This list is known as the “AdWords”.
  • The user clicks on an advertisement link to visit the website. If the website is deemed relevant, it will have a higher chance of being clicked since this means that there may be intent from the user to conduct business. Google PPC services are paid for by advertisers who want their product or service to be at the top of the list for a particular search query. They can also pay to have their link displayed as an advertisement on Google’s search engine page header and on its right hand side ads.

Google has different types of Google PPC services, each with a specific name:

  • Search Ads on Google
  • Display Network
  • Gmail Ads
  • Shopping Campaigns

Before advertising on Google PPC, advertisers are first required to create an account with Google. The following are the steps to creating a new AdWords account:

  1. Go to https://adwords.google.com/ and click “Sign in” at the top right of the screen. If you already have an account with Google, you can proceed directly to step 2.
  2. If you are creating a new account, complete all of the required fields (Name, Email address and Company name).
  3. Agree to the Google terms and conditions by checking the checkbox next to “I agree to AdWords terms”.
  4. Optionally, you can create a new account with Google by selecting the option to “Sign up” for an Adwords account. This will take you to a page where you’re required to provide your name, email address and business type in order to complete registration.

Once you are registered on Google’s platform, the next step is to create an advertising campaign. There are two options to creating a campaign, which are managed placements and standard campaigns. Managed placements allow advertisers to select specific websites of Google PPC services that their ads will appear on while standard campaigns mean that your ad will automatically advertise on all Google’s partner sites.

With a great google pay per click ad, you are guaranteed to see your business increase.Your are also guaranteed to increase your online search engine rankings. As you plan to make your new campaign, keep in mind that all campaigns are subject to Google’s terms of services.Google PPC services are paid for by advertisers who want their product or service to be the top of the list for a particular search query.

They can also pay to have their link displayed as an advertisement on Google’s search engine page header and on its right hand side ads.
