Barry is back! The third season of the HBO comedy series kicked off with a fun, fast-paced episode that had us laughing out loud. As expected, this season will have an entirely new feel to it and will not be focused on politics like last year’s episodes. We’re already wondering what new adventures Barry (Bill Hader) will get himself into this time around. This is a fun, fast-paced episode that had us laughing out loud. We’re already wondering what new adventures Barry will get himself into this time around! It’s been four years since Barry has left the FBI after a disastrous sting where he was working undercover trying to crack an elusive drug dealer. He is now living his life as a private investigator and loving every second of it.

THE STARRING CAST: NEW AND RETURNING MEMBERS:
The CAST features one of my favorite actors ever (Bill Hader) as well as Henry Winkler and Stephen Root. Production on the show has been amazing, with Bill Hader and Alec Berg (executive producers) doing a great job of bringing this character to life.

The cast is as stellar as ever, with Barry’s family and friends all returning. We also get a glimpse of some new faces this season that will have us glued to the screen for hours on end! The guest stars are phenomenal too; there are a few celebrity appearances in Season Three which we can’t wait to see. The cast is amazing and Bill Hader did an excellent job of playing every dimension of Barry. He’s very talented! Season three has some new faces to the show as well so keep your eyes peeled!
THE PLOT OF BARRY SEASON 3:
We’re not sure where the plot will go this season, but we have a few guesses. The plot is not what you would expect, which makes it all the more interesting. It doesn’t matter if the plot seems different from what I was expecting because it sounds so compelling that I will definitely be watching! Barry, as always, is on a path to becoming the best Barry he can be. This season will focus more on his personal life than it did in Season One and Two which primarily focused on his work. We’ll get to see what this version of an LA actor’s day-to-day job entails.
Until that is, someone from his past resurfaces in the form of Billings (Delroy Lindo), who informs Barry that he needs his help with a very important mission. Billings is not the only one asking for Barry’s assistance, because as ever, with Barry’s family and friends all returning.
REVIEW:
The reviews have only come out for the first season, and they are all unanimously good. The ratings for the first season were good too, and I am hopeful that the PLOT for this next season will be as compelling. Barry was one of the most unique, hilarious, and all-around engaging shows on television.
It’s a show that we would recommend to anyone because it has humor for everyone! The first season was a slow starter, but we still loved every single minute. This episode had us laughing out loud, but some viewers complained that it was too disjointed or not funny enough for them to make the connections.
EXPECTATIONS:
The second season is one of our favorite seasons ever on television and it’s why this show will always be in the top tier of our favorites list. The third season looks like it could be even better than the previous two! It sounds like they are going to go in a different direction with the character of Barry and we are very intrigued by that! The production value is really high and the show looks slick. It’s a bit more polished than season two which we liked.
