It’s been a real blast getting to know every cast member on such an intimate level these last few months. What inspired the director to write Chucky’s Season 2?
The series is inspired by “Cult of Chucky”, the 2017 film. The director Don Mancini and writer Carey Miller were inspired by the movie and decided to make a new season with some actors from that film including Jennifer Tilly, Brad Dourif, and Fiona Dourif. The director had the idea for a Chucky sequel after he was impressed with Chucky’s performance in “Child’s Play 3”.

For example, during one scene in a hotel room, there was an accident on set where Jennifer Tilly accidentally cut herself while hanging objects on set. The cast had to use CGI to hide the cut on set. During another scene, there was an accident that happened on set during a table-turning scene. During the scene, Chucky was supposed to turn a table and a person who was sitting at the table would fall over. Unfortunately, the person fell over and couldn’t get up for a few minutes. While everyone tried to help her back up, Chucky went over to her and pushed her down with his knife.

The favorite characters of the directors are Tiffany and Chucky. However, he also likes Lego Chucky. The reason why he likes Tiffany is that she’s a strong female character, who can take care of herself and fights back. The reason why he likes Chucky is that he’s fun and crazy.
