The wait is finally over. We now know who will be dancing with the stars this season! On Tuesday, March 19th ABC released their show’s cast and details for the new season. There are a total of 18 celebrities competing for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy in Season 30.

This includes NFL player Terrell Owens, actor Milo Ventimiglia, Olympic gold medalist Adam Rippon, and singer Tinashe among many others! What is “Dancing with the Stars all About?”

Dancing with the Stars is an American dance competition television series that premiered on June 30, 2005, on ABC. It was created as a cross between dancing with the stars and celebrity dancing reality show like Dancing With The Stars UK. The US version of Strictly Come Dancing first aired in 1997 for one season before being canceled due to low ratings.

The show is hosted by former America’s Funniest Home Videos host Tom Bergeron, alongside Erin Andrews, who became co-host in season 18. Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli serve as judges on the panel. The dancers compete against each other in a dancing competition and one or more couples are eliminated until a champion is crowned.

A new dancing with the stars professional dancer partner is selected for them every week except those that have participated before but come back to participate again like Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Valentin Chmerkovskiy from Dancing With The Stars Season 12.

The new season’s cast and details were revealed by ABC on March 19th Tuesday which includes 18 celebrities dancing for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy in Season 30. The dancing pros will be revealed at a later date.

The professional dancers for the new season have been revealed which includes Jenna Johnson, Emma Slater, Sasha Farber, and Gleb Savchenko from Dancing With The Stars Season 27 partnered with Tonya Harding as her dancing pro this time around in Season 30.

What is the release date of “Dancing with the Stars?”

Ahead of Season 29, ABC has not set any premiere date for the upcoming season. Past fall seasons of Dancing With the Stars have typically started during September. For now, it’s a safe assumption that season 30 will also start sometime during the same month.
