The Plot:
Dear White People, season four plot, focuses on Sam, who heads off to black college Winchester University for her freshmen year whilst dealing with increasing racial tensions at a predominantly white Ivy League school where she previously attended as an “undercover” student.

She had just graduated from an Ivy League school, and she couldn’t wait to spend her days at Winchester University, where there are more black people like herself for Sam to study with and learn from. However, it is not long before she realizes that a storm is brewing on campus as racial tensions rise between black and white Americans.
Season three of the show ended on a cliffhanger when Sam was revealed to be attending Winchester University in the first episode after graduation from Stanford. The new episodes are set to explore Sam’s experiences at Winchester. The plot is revealed in the first episode, which introduces Sam as she arrives to start her freshman year of college and goes about deciding what she wants from life now that she has been accepted into the prestigious black university.

The show is filmed in California, the home of its creator Justin Simien. “Dear White People” season four will explore what happens when a blackface party forces the students of Winchester to reflect on their own sense of identity.
