Background of the series 

The first season of “Carnival Row” was released on 30 August 2019. When the series was in production, cast members Cara Delevingne and Tom Bateman were dating. Orlando Bloom had also been seen with his girlfriend Lily Cole at a bookstore in London. Filming for the second season of “Carnival Row” began on May 2022. Filming began again in London. According to the “Daily Mail”, Orlando Bloom, Cara Delevingne, and Tom Bateman have all returned for the second season.

What is “Carnival Row” about?

In “Carnival Row”, the inhabitants of a mythical metropolis called The Burgue live in harmony with the creatures known as faeries. When humans and fae folk start living together in The Burgue, it becomes known as “the greatest carnival of creatures.” One night, a human woman and a fae man give birth to twins that have identical looks. A couple of days later, the wife disappears and is never seen again. The human husband sees another woman whom he thinks is his wife until she reveals her true form. The first season of “Carnival Row” is about how a truce between the humans and fae folk was broken. The second season will be about a war between them. The main character of the series is Rycroft Philostrate, a native of The Burgue who becomes an inspector for the human police department. His job is to ensure that citizens do not intermingle with faeries. The second season will begin with Rycroft investigating a series of gruesome murders stoking social tensions between the humans and fae folk.

Carnival Row season 2 plot 

The second season of “Carnival Row” will be about a civil war between the fae folk and the humans. In the first season, humans and fae folk lived in harmony but now things have changed. Season two begins with a gruesome murder in The Burgue, which makes people realize that there is no peace between humans and fae folk as it was always assumed. The humans will be divided into two groups: the anti-faerie ones and the pro-faerie ones.

The main character of “Carnival Row” is Rycroft Philostrate, who works for the human police department. He has an important role in breaking down the division between races, but he will soon realize that there is a possibility of a war between humans and faeries. The Burge has never been so unstable since Rycroft was a child.

“Carnival Row” season 1 was released to positive reviews and had an average rating of  68 reviews on IMDb and  57% on Rotten Tomatoes. The first season of the series was released on August 30, 2019.

Carnival Row season 2 release date

On June 3, 2019, it was announced that the series would start on August 30, 2019. The second season of a popular show is set to release on February 17, 2023. The new episodes will be released in batches of two. The second season will begin with a two-hour premiere.
